Producer

Studio production collage

If you are looking for a producer who can handle multiple genres and deliver high-quality results, I work across pop, blues, jazz, funk, rock, metal, Americana, electronic, and more. I can assist your project from start to finish, whether you need a demo, polished single, EP, full album, or production support for a multimedia project.

I started producing music as a teen over 30 years ago. As my passion grew, I moved from a small multitrack home studio into professional studios I designed, built, and worked from as a young adult. Since then, I have worked on production sessions in everything from world-famous rooms like The Village and Ocean Way to modest home studios where creativity mattered more than the room size.

Music production is a craft I am deeply rooted in. As a musician, recording artist, audio engineer, and producer, I can help with the creative direction, the technical path, and the practical organization needed to get from an idea to a finished release.

Production Approach

My role can include creative direction, arrangement input, song structure notes, musician coordination, pre-production planning, session planning, engineering oversight, editing strategy, and helping artists stay connected to the core feeling of the work.

I value collaboration and clear communication. The goal is not to force a project into a formula, but to understand the artist's vision and help shape it into something polished, intentional, and emotionally convincing.

Strengths I Bring

  • Organization: session planning, workflow, file management, schedule awareness, and creative input that stays useful instead of chaotic.
  • Technical oversight: audio engineering experience that helps me handle many production duties directly or communicate clearly with additional engineers.
  • Artist connection: experience as an artist and performer, making it easier to understand creative goals from the inside.
  • Musical versatility: comfort across rock, pop, blues, jazz, funk, R&B, metal, electronic, classical, experimental, and hybrid styles.
  • Practical problem solving: production choices that respect budget, timeline, available players, and the real needs of the release.

Project Types

  • Song demos and artist development recordings.
  • Singles, EPs, and full-length albums.
  • Remote production support and session planning.
  • Arrangement and creative direction.
  • Production editing, mix prep, and engineering coordination.
  • Music production for film, web, TV, music videos, business media, and promotional projects.

Pricing

Production pricing is project-based because the scope can vary widely. A short demo, a single, a full album, a remote session, and a larger multimedia production all require different planning, time, and personnel. Reach out with the project type, song count, current material, timeline, and budget range, and I can provide a quote or suggest a realistic starting plan.
